Keep it going – Regular service £55
The aim of this service is to keep your bike running smoothly and to avoid mechanical breakdowns. It includes:
• Full visual inspection of the bike and its components
• Check tyres for wear and inflate as required
• Check & adjust the brakes, replacing cables and blocks as required
• Clean & lubricate the drive chain
• Indexing of gears, checking outer limits
• Check wheels for spoke tension, dish and trueness. Make minor adjustments if required.
• Tighten key points (headset, bottom bracket, pedals, hubs, seat post)
• Costs of replacement parts are not included
Complete recovery – Strip down and rebuild £125
Some essential parts need less frequent servicing, but when the time comes, I offer the regular service plus:
• Removal, clean and refit of regular bottom bracket
• Removal, clean and refit of headset
• Servicing front and rear wheel hubs
• Deep clean of frame and fork

Had a (pre-assembled) bike delivered to your home? I can put it together and get it road ready. This service is provided at your home and includes:
• Inspection for any transport damage
• Finishing the bike assembly
• Testing and adjusting brakes, gears and wheels
• Carry out a basic bike fit
• This is not a full bike build from components…
Collect & deliver £10
You are welcome to drop your bike off at my workshop by appointment, but for convenience I can collect and return your bike. This is free within Harpenden for service bookings.
